Our Story
Victor, our co-founder, boasts over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Throughout his career, he observed the significant challenge homeowners face in finding trustworthy home services and equipment. This realization inspired him to establish his own showroom, where customers could receive education and test various HVAC products firsthand. His passion for educating customers grew as he recognized the critical role of consumer awareness in achieving optimal home comfort and efficiency. Moreover, Victor also identified a gap between customers and contractors, hindering homes from reaching their maximum efficiency potential. This insight motivated us to dedicate our efforts to bridging this divide and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Francisco, our fellow co-founder, launched his career in tech finance immediately after college. After six fulfilling years in the industry, he discovered his true passion was in making a direct impact on people's lives and the environment. Inspired by this passion, Francisco sought mentorship from Victor to dive deeper into HVAC—one of the largest energy consumers in homes. Under Victor's guidance, Francisco was introduced to an idea aimed at maximizing home energy efficiency. This collaboration led to the creation of BetterHomeLink.
